Flexible payment and change of dates
We understand that in these very challenging and unpredictable times planning life in advance has become impossible, and holidays are not an exception.
To give you peace of mind, we are introducing Graziers Cottage worry-free booking and cancellation policy which is now reflected in our updated Booking Terms & Conditions.
This policy applies to bookings made directly through Graziers Cottage official web site only (not applicable to Special Dates).
To secure your dates, we will require £50 deposit at the time of booking. The balance will be due 30 days prior to your arrival date.
If you are unable to come and stay with us due to FCDO or local government travel restrictions on either side, we will give you a full refund or defer your booking to any date within the next 18 months (subject to availability and rate differences).
Please note: this policy doesn't apply to cancellations due to testing positive for COVID, legal requirements to self-isolate etc. This is now widely covered by personal travel insurance and we strongly recommend purchasing it prior to your booking or shortly after.

Minimizing guests risks at the cottage
We believe that there is minimal risk of guests contracting COVID-19 from Graziers Cottage. We want everyone who stays with us to be safe and secure and we are doing everything we can to make this possible.
Our cottage is a self-contained building with its own private enclosed garden and entrance. We do not have shared facilities apart from the communal parking. However, the social distancing rules can be easily followed there.
We operate a contactless check-in procedure: the guests retrieve the key from the key safe box.
We employ a professional cleaning company specializing in the holiday let market which follows all the latest regulations and cleaning protocols. Our guests arrive to the cottage which has been thoroughly cleaned including:
Cleaning hard surfaces using antiviral disinfectant effective against Coronavirus; certified to European standards EN1276 & EN14476.
Ventilating the cottage whilst cleaning.
Sanitizing high touch points e.g. keys, door handles, light switches, remote controls, banisters, appliances etc.
Disinfecting all soft furnishings and bedding with spray disinfectant.
Apply fresh gloves before putting the clean linen on the beds, towels, bathmats, tea towels and any other removable linen items.
All crockery, cutlery, glassware is put through the dishwasher.
For guests use, whilst staying at the cottage, we provide some cleaning equipment and cleaning products which are stored in under staircase cupboard:
sweeping brush and dust pan
mop and bucket
antiviral spray (effective against Coronavirus; certified to EN14476)
extra wiping cloths
However, the easiest way to stay safe is to wash your hands as frequently as possible. Our soap dispensers are always full!
In addition, for your personal use we have provided pocket size hand sanitizer gel within the guest welcome pack.
We have replaced our printed Guest Information folder and Instructions folder with a digital guidebook which allows our guests to access all useful information about the cottage, recommended places and manuals for the appliances on their own smartphone or tablet.
We have completed a Risk Assessment and received “Good To Go” certificate from Visit England and World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) international ‘Safe Travels’ stamp.
