Graziers Cottage is "Good To Go"

Updated: Feb 4, 2021

On 4th July 2020, after 3 months of closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Graziers Cottage is re-opening its doors to guests.

We have made some changes to ensure that there is minimal risk of guests contracting COVID-19 from the cottage. We want everyone who stays with us  to be safe and secure and we are doing everything we can to make this possible.

Every guest arriving will find the cottage cleaned in accordance to the UK Hospitality Industry cleaning standards and protocols including:

  • hard surfaces cleaned using antiviral disinfectant effective against Coronavirus; certified to European standards EN1276 & EN14476;

  • high touch points e.g. keys, door handles, light switches, remote controls, banisters, appliances etc. sanitized;

  • all soft furnishings and bedding disinfected with spray disinfectant;

  • clean bed linen, towels, bathmats, tea towels and any other removable linen items handled with fresh gloves;

  • all crockery, cutlery, glassware is put through the dishwasher.

Guests are more than welcome to do cleaning during their stay. For this purpose we provide extra cleaning materials including virucidal disinfectant, cloths, disposable gloves. However, the easiest way to stay safe is to wash your hands as frequently as possible. Our soap dispensers are always full!

In addition, for going out and about we have provided pocket size hand sanitizer gel within the guest welcome pack.

Our printed Guest Information folder and Instructions folder have been replaced with a digital guidebook which allows our guests to access all useful information about the cottage, recommended places and manuals for the appliances on their own smartphone or tablet.

As before, we remain a fully contactless accommodation with no face-to-face interaction with our guests: our bookings are 100% online and guest communication is done over emails; the guests retrieve the key from the key safe to access the cottage.

All these measures together allowed us to complete a Risk Assessment and apply for an Industry Standard Mark which we have received - the Visit England's certificate "We're Good To Go".

Graziers Cottage has followed government and industry COVID-19 guidelines
We received "Good To Go" certificate

We hope that we have reassured all our guests that we have taken all possible steps to protect them so they could enjoy their well deserved holiday!
