ABOUT
If you ever wondered what it is like to “escape to the country”, live in a historic cottage in the middle of a small local community, Graziers Cottage offers you the perfect opportunity!

Built from honey-coloured stone 300 year ago in 1720, Graziers Cottage is a traditional charming, quintessential Cotswold cottage. Mullion windows, exposed beams, stone walls, flagstone floors, a vaulted ceiling, and a window seat are among the cottage’s preserved historical attributes. But the most impressive feature of the cottage is the massive inglenook fireplace, which instantly delivers a wow factor.

After a recent refurbishment, the cottage effortlessly meets modern standards of living. It has two bedrooms and one bathroom and comfortably accommodates two to four people. A fully-equipped kitchen has built-in appliances and everything you need for a holiday. The wood-burning stove and underfloor heating will keep you cosy, and fibre optic broadband with 350 Mbps Wi-Fi will keep you connected all the time if you wish. All of that makes the cottage a perfect base for solo travellers, couples, small families with children, or groups of friends.

For our guests, we provide two off-street parking spaces - a not-so-common and highly valuable facility in the Cotswolds.

An award-winning country pub, The Plough Inn, is located within a one-minute walk from the cottage. Dating back to the 16th century, this famous and quirky pub has an 'olde-worlde' atmosphere, a great menu (including one for children), cosy open fires in winter, and a large beer garden for warmer seasons. You don’t even need to drive after dinner – walk back to the cottage!

Graziers Cottage is situated in a peaceful hamlet of Ford in Gloucestershire, which is very popular among the horse racing community and surrounded by glorious Cotswolds countryside. Just across the road from the cottage lies Jackdaws Castle, one of the finest horse racing training facilities in Britain and the base of trainer Jonjo O’Neill. Some picturesque walks start right outside the cottage, including direct access to the Cotswold Way.

The cottage is ideally located for exploring the North and Central Cotswolds as well as for day trips to Stratford-on-Avon and Warwick. Average driving times to the most visited attractions are:
