GRAZIERS COTTAGE

Graziers Cottage is a charming Grade II Listed cottage built circa 1730. It is a self-catering accommodation available for rent as a holiday let 365 days a year. The cottage is situated in a peaceful hamlet of Ford in Gloucestershire which is surrounded by glorious Cotswolds countryside and very popular among the horse racing community.

The cottage has retained all the charm and character of a traditional English cottage built in honey-coloured Cotswold stone. Mullion windows, exposed beams, flagstone floors, a vaulted ceiling and a window seat are among the cottage’s preserved historical features.

 

Recently refurbished in 2018 the cottage provides its guests with all contemporary facilities and luxuries including a kitchen with built-in appliances, a stunning shower room, underfloor heating and fibreoptic broadband with 350 Mbps WiFi.

Just around the corner from us, within 1 min walk is The Plough Inn. Dating back to the 16th century, this famous and quirky pub is very popular with the horse racing community, combining 'olde-worlde' atmosphere, a great menu (including one for children) and cosy open fireplaces.

Just across the road from The Plough Inn, is situated Jackdaws Castle - arguably the finest jump racing training facility in Britain and the base of trainer Jonjo O’Neill. On a good day you can watch jockeys racing along the Gallops or even meet them in The Plough!
