Built nearly 300 years ago, Graziers Cottage is a very attractive Cotswold holiday cottage retaining all its original features which are complimented by a contemporary decor and modern facilities.

THE KITCHEN

The entrance stable door leads to the kitchen with high vaulted ceiling which has been sympathetically refurbished in a traditional English cottage style and has flagstone flooring with underfloor heating, Shaker-style cabinets, farmhouse sink, period style lighting, breakfast table and chairs for 4 guests. The guests will find here all necessary modern appliances including built-in fridge-freezer, electric oven, 4 ring ceramic hob, extractor fan, washing machine/tumble dryer, dishwasher, microwave oven, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, cafeteria, toaster, ironing board and iron.

The Living Room

COSY IN WINTER, COOL IN SUMMER

From the kitchen to the right is located a cosy sitting/dining room which features original flagstone floors, an inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove and smart TV with FreeView, On Demand services, complimentary Netflix; 3-seat leather Chesterfield sofa and a wing back armchair; antique oak cabinet hosting a small library of books and leaflets about local attractions; an oval dining table and chairs comfortably seats 4 people. There’s also a coat rack and a shoe bench on the left side of the inglenook.

The 16th century Plough Inn is a minute's walk from our front door. Renowned for its excellent menu, serving fresh local produce and fine Donnington Ales, the Plough is popular with many famous jockeys and trainers.

The area holds everything for appreciators of the countryside as well as a rich and diverse cultural and sporting heritage. Jackdaws Castle racehorse trainers is directly opposite, and if you like walking, there are some fine walks, with a stunning view of the gallops. Cycling, fishing and golf are also located in the near vicinity.

BEDROOMS

The Cottage has 2 bedrooms and sleeps maximum 4 people (and 1 infant in a travel cot). 

We provide for our guests on a complimentary basis:

  • Use of our fibre optic broadband (350 Mbps)

  • Use of Graziers Netflix subscription

  • Underfloor heating in the kitchen and throughout the upstairs

  • Thermostatically controlled heating in the living room

  • High quality bed linen and towels

  • An initial amount of consumables (instant coffee, tea, sugar, seasoning, oil, Nespresso compatible coffee capsules, kitchen roll, dishwasher tablets, sponge, tea towels, soap, shower gel, toilet rolls etc.)

  • A starter supply of logs and kindling for our wood burner

Shower Room

SHOWER ROOM...

...has a walk-in electric shower, toilet pan, vanity unit with wash basin, mirrored cabinet and electric towel rail.

Graziers Cottage benefits from 2 parking spaces on Ford Farm Cottages communal parking which is 30 steps away from the cottage via pretty graveled path.

Please note: caravans, campervans, motorhomes and trailers are strictly not allowed to park on our parking due to a nature and restricted width of the parking entrance.

Garden

GARDEN

Outside the cottage guests can enjoy a charming garden with paved patio and table and chairs under a pagoda. There’s also a built-in barbecue and a shed with a small storage space available for the guests – enough to store muddy boots or even a collapsible pushchair.
