This privacy policy will explain how Graziers Cottage uses the personal data we collect from you when you use our website.

What data do we collect?

When you contact us to make a booking or make an enquiry about potential booking or any additional information, Graziers Cottage collects the following data:

  • Your name, email address – when you make an enquiry.

  • Your full name, email address, mobile number, your residence address – when you make your booking request.

  • Full name and mobile number of all members of your party over 16 years old -  when you make your booking request.

 

How do we collect your data?

You directly provide Graziers Cottage with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:

  • Make a booking or make an enquiry about potential booking or any additional information

  • Voluntarily complete a customer survey or provide feedback on any of our message boards or via email.

  • Entry our competitions.

Graziers Cottage also receive your data indirectly from the following sources if you made your booking through them:

  • Online Travel Agencies and platforms like TripAdvisor, HomaAway, AirBNB, Character Cottages etc.

 

How will we use your data?

Graziers Cottage collects your data so that we can:

  • Process and manage your booking request.

  • Email you with special offers we think you might like.

  • Provide you with an information you have requested in your queries.

When Graziers Cottage processes your order, it may send your data to, and also use the resulting information from, credit reference agencies to prevent fraudulent purchases.

 

Who will you share my information with?

In order to provide you with the services that we offer and/or in our legitimate interests, we may share your information with a third party companies providing services for our web site (i.e. our web site platform, our web site booking system, our card processing company; credit/debit card companies).

If you enter our competitions, we will share your name on our web site and our pages on social media platforms – in case you win the competition.

We may also use and disclose your personal data without your permission in connection with any legal proceedings or prospective legal proceedings, and in order to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights.

To support NHS Test and Trace in England, we collect and keep a limited record of all guests over 16 years old for the purpose of contact tracing. By maintaining records of guests and sharing these with NHS Test and Trace, where requested, we can help to identify people who may have been exposed to the coronavirus. NHS Test and Trace have asked us to retain this information for 21 days from the date of your visit, to enable contact tracing to be carried out by NHS Test and Trace during that period. We will only share information with NHS Test and Trace if it is specifically requested by them.

We will not share your information with any other third parties for marketing purposes.

 

Subscriptions

Graziers Cottage accepts voluntary subscriptions to its own blogging service and competitions.

If you have subscribed, you may always opt out at a later date.

If you no longer wish to be subscribed to Graziers Cottage, please send us an email to contact@grazierscottage.com with the subject Unsubscribe.
